Riga Latvia - The "Pearl of the Baltics"
Why Riga? This unique and charming city, often called " Pearl of the Baltics", is the capital city of Latvia. It's a marvelous place with a vibrant city life, alive with arts and music, a charming Old Town, exciting night spots, superb restaurants, and a multitude of recreational activities. Latvia has about 50% of its people living in Riga and the rest spread out over a country that requires only a day to drive across. Blessed with wide open country, fresh, clean and natural, Latvia has the gentle climate of the seashore, and a near perfect mix of forested lands, grass meadows, small hills, and wide sunny beaches.
For the smart shopper, Riga can be a very intertesting place to visit. Besides dental treatment, the prices for almost everything are a fraction of what you would pay at home:

Traveling to Riga has never been easier. The newly built Riga Lidosta ("airport" in Latvian) is served by most major European airlines such as SAS, Lufthansa, and KLM. In addition, the smaller low fare economy airlines such as Ryanair, WIZZAir, and Air Baltic, have dramatically lowered the cost of flying to Latvia.
Riga offers an abundance of hotel and apartment options. On our contact page you'll find links to hotels close to our clinic. If you are planning a longer stay of more than a week, we recommend you consider a stay in one of the many furnished apartments scattered around the city center.
Riga is a wonderful city, but beyond the city border are many other interesting places to visit and enjoy. There's the Baltic sea resort of Jurmala, summer playground of Russia's "New Rich"; Sigulda, home to Latvia's ski and winter sports complex (yes, there's skiing in Latvia), and the coastal cities of Ventspils and Liepaja where you'll find beautiful summer beaches, with convenient ferry transit to Germany and Sweden.
At Baltic Dental we can assist with all travel details from the moment you step off the plane to the moment you wave goodbye. Rest assured, you're never "alone in a strange city" with us. Local contact information is there for you 24 hours a day for advice, assistance, or problem resolution.
We advise you book your air and hotel first because it will be easier for us to adjust to your schedule than the reverse. And please feel free to visit us during the weekend. We are often working on Sunday to accommodate patients that have only the weekend for available for their visit.
If you make the decision to visit us (and we hope you do), we only need to know your preferred arrival date, how long you want to stay, your accommodations and any other special requests you might have. Please be sure to include all your contact details such as mobile telephone number, email address and the best time to call.
Then, all you need to do is book your tickets and pack. We'll be there waiting for you at the airport, big smiles with a special Latvian welcome.
Don't put off that important dental work another minute! Like my own dentist once told me, "the longer you wait, the worse it gets". Call us TODAY!!
